I had the pleasure of working with your sweet wife, mother, and grandmother at Russell Primary for many years. Ellen was probably one of the kindest, soft-spoken, and patient ladies I've known in our profession. Yet, although I never had "Mrs. Walters" as my own teacher, my oldest nephew, who just got married this past February, did benefit. She made a difference in Dylan's life. The Lamber-Walters team to this day are among his favorite memories. I know you have many hard days ahead, but rest easy knowing she Ellen did great things in the world - she changed the life of children. The "mailbox" outside her classroom door said, "I teach for the little reasons." Yes she did. God bless and peace to you all. Ellen until we meet again...

I taught with Ellen at Advance during my very first year of teaching. Such a sweet, kind, classy lady. She also raised some awesome children. My condolences to the family.
