Arlan Leo Greene

Arlan Leo Greene, 92, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Woodland Oaks Health Care in Ashland, KY. Mr. Greene was born August 28, 1929, in Ashland, KY, to the late Daniel Robert and Tennie Jane Hutchinson Greene. In addition to his parents, Mr. Greene was preceded in death by his five brothers: Edward, Lloyd, Ray, Robert, and Harold “Bill”; and five sisters: Ruby, Kathleen, Daisy, Shirley, and Naomi. Leo was a steel worker for Kentucky Electric Steel, a member of the Local 7054 Steel Workers Union, and a United States Army Veteran. He loved his garden and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Greene is survived by his loving wife, Mary Roberta Hicks Greene of Ashland, KY; daughter, Diana Lander of Tucson, AZ; three grandchildren, Rob (Susan) Kendrick of Ashland, KY, Joseph Kendrick of Tucson, AZ, and Mitzi Barr Farkas of Aiken, SC; multiple great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
