Armond Lowell Renfroe

Armond Lowell Renfroe, 91, of Ashland, KY, passed away on November 21, 2022, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Mr. Renfroe was born December 9, 1930, in Ashland, KY, to the late Samuel “Sam” and Jenny Mayberry Renfroe. In addition to his parents, Mr. Renfroe was preceded in death by his loving wife, Verna Delores “Doris” Renfroe; a son, Allen Renfroe; his brother, Elmer Renfroe; and two sisters: Jaquelyn Renfroe and Dorothy Boggess. Armond was a master mechanic for Chrysler Corporation, McGuire Motors, and Ashland Finance. He loved hunting and fishing and was a member of Summitt Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Renfroe is survived by a son, David Earl (Carla) Renfroe of Ashland, KY; three grandchildren: J.C. Renfroe and David Michael (Tanya Slavens) Renfroe both of Ashland, KY, and Jackie Suzanne (Alan) Burns of Catlettsburg, KY; eight great-grandchildren: Aaron, Shelby, Ryan, Natasha, Amber, Kelsey, Shane, and Ian; 16 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Dixie Conwill of Jacksonville, FL and Charlotte (Don) Moore of Flatwoods, KY; and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral Service will be held at 12 P.M. on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Bro. Kevin Meenach officiating. Burial will follow at Dixon Cemetery in Westwood, KY. Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
