Benjamin Scott Scotty Sansom

Benjamin Scott “Scotty” Sansom, 41, of Flatwoods, KY passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Sansom was born April 18, 1974 in Ashland, KY, a son of the late Ralph Eugene Sansom and the late Carol Joyce Brown. He was a stockman at Dollar Tree in Russell, KY.  Scotty enjoyed baseball, hunting, fishing and loved the outdoors. Mr. Sansom will be sadly missed by his son: Hunter Dylan Sansom of Ashland, KY; a sister, Teresa Kay Brown, and her husband, Doug, of Russell, KY; a brother, Michael Eugene Sansom of Flatwoods, KY; five nephews: Drew, Derek, Ethan, Tucker, and Travis; a great nephew, Homer; a longtime girlfriend, Trina Daugherty and her son, Cody, of Flatwoods, KY; and a host of extended family and friends. There will be a committal service on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 12 PM at the gravesite in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, KY.  Bailey Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.  Condolences may be expressed at www.baileyfamilyfuneralhome.com.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
