Betty June Renfroe

Betty June Renfroe, 83, of Flatwoods, KY passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at Woodland Oaks in Ashland, KY. Mrs. Renfroe was born on June 1, 1932 in Jeffery, WV, a daughter of the late Emmitte and Florence Elkins Adkins.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Renfroe. Mrs. Renfroe was of the Baptist faith. She was the owner and operator of BJ Towing, Ryder Truck Rental Services, and Renfroe Sunoco; all located in Ashland, KY. She is survived by her three daughters:  Carlotta Renfroe of Flatwoods, KY, Lovettia Roberts of Huntington, WV, and Cathy Layne of Harlingen, TX; three brothers: Billy Adkins and Donny Adkins, both of Danville, WV, and Gene Adkins of Secoal, WV; two sisters: Letha Adkins and Dolly Adkins, both of Westwood, KY; seven grandchildren: James Elmer Baldridge, Brian Roberts, Beth Baldridge, Janet Brooks, Jacob Roberts, Jonothan Layne, and Abie Layne; and twelve great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Adkins Cemetery in Secoal, WV with Rev. Grant Craddock officiating. The visitation will be from 10 AM until 11 AM on Wednesday at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to either, St. Jude, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, or to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Ave. Ashland, KY 41101.  Condolences may be left for the family at baileyfamilyfuneralhome.com.
