Betty Taylor Cochran, 77, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on September 18, 2014 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Mrs. Cochran was born on January 31, 1937 in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Clyde David “C.D.”  and Arielbelle Pendelton Taylor.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Eugene Cochran. Mrs. Cochran was a retired LPN for the state of South Carolina and attended Chapel of Redemption in West Columbia, SC. Mrs. Cochran is survived by a daughter, Sandra Cochran Adkins of Flatwoods, KY, and her husband, Bobby; a son, Matthew Cochran of Cayce, SC; three brothers: Paul Taylor of Achron, OH, Raymond Taylor of Toledo, OH, and James Taylor of Chapman, SC; three sisters: Pauline Taylor McCaskill of Warren, OH, Martha Jean Taylor Norris of Canton, OH, and Jewel “Judy” Taylor Rucker of Hartsville, OH; and two grandchildren: Hunter and Jessie Reed.
