Beverly Helen Rye

Beverly Helen Crisp Rye, 66, of Ashland, KY went home to be with her Saviour on Monday, April 2, 2012, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. Mrs. Rye was born December 31, 1945 in Ashland, a daughter of the late Clarence Arnold and Annabelle Grace Hunt Crisp.  She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Lonnie Pennington and James Lewis Rye.  Mrs. Rye was a CSM at Wal-Mart in Ashland, a member of Old Orchard Church of Christ in Ashland, a Kentucky Colonel, and a 1965 graduate of Russell High School.  She is survived by two sisters: Mary Kathleen Crisp Porter of Ashland and Rita Faye Burton of Greenup; a daughter, Kathleen Pugh; a granddaughter Sarah Pugh; three nephews:  Joseph Lee, Allen, and Jimmy Arnold Pennington; and a niece, Tina Ann Pennington.  A memorial service will be planned at a later date.  Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made to the funeral home at 2110 Argillite Road, Flatwoods, KY 41139 to aid the family with final expenses.
