Brenda K Bloebaum

Brenda Bloebaum, 71, of Raceland, KY, originally of Elkhorn City, Ky, left this earthly world and went to her home with the Lord on November 25, 2023, at her home with her loving husband, Gary by her side.

Brenda was born October 1, 1952, in Wheelwright, KY, to the late Millard and Gwendlyn Potter Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Clayton M. King, brother, Jerry Johnson, and sister, Patricia Johnson.

Mrs. Bloebaum was a retired secretary for Prichard Reality. She was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan and Chicago Cubs baseball fan. She was of the Baptist faith.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Gary Bloebaum of Raceland, KY; stepdaughter, Apryl (Jeremiah) Thompson of Catlettsburg, KY; step-son, Roger (Dorothy) Bloebaum of South Point, OH; brother, Bobby Johnson of Louisa, KY; niece Sabrina (Steve) May of Louisa, KY; nephew, Robby Johnson of Louisa, KY; her grandchildren whom she adored, Kayla (Mikeal) Melvin of Ashland, KY, Colton Thompson of Catlettsburg, KY, Joey Bloebaum of South Point, OH; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Rev. Jim Bevin officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Burial Park in Ashland, KY.

Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
