Candace Ann Zona

Candace Ann Zona, 53 of Lehigh Acres, FL passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Zona was born April 5, 1964 in Ironton, OH, a daughter of Betty Jenkins Morgan of Ironton, OH and the late Donald Lee Toney. Mrs. Zona was also preceded in death by one brother, John Toney and two sister, Christina Toney and Angeleah Toney. Mrs. Zona was a self-employed singer and song writer for 20 years. She played for over 200 different benefits. Anyone who needed help, she was there. She was also a big animal advocate and rescued several dogs. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Zona is survived by her loving husband, August Zona; two brothers, Don Toney Jr. of Raleigh, NC and Sam Toney of Redford, MI; five sisters, Donita Toney Rossiter of Columbus, OH, Patricia Delong of Pedro, OH, Betty Marulli of Southport, NC, Mary Toney of Marysville, OH, and Leah Myers of Galloway, OH. Funeral Service will be at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Rev. James Muncy officiating. Burial will follow at Heaberlin Cemetery in Wurtland, KY.
