Carol Kay Roy Allen

Carol Kay Roy Allen, 64, of Flatwoods, KY passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Mrs. Allen was born in Ashland, KY on November 28, 1948 to the late Kenneth Lynn Roy and the late Kathleen Akers Roy. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a 1966 graduate of Russell High School. She is survived by her husband of more than 47 years, Paul Thomas Allen Jr.; three daughters:  Michelle Dawn McClain of Greendale, IN; Alicia Renee (Michael) Clay of Bellefonte, KY; and Rebekkah Colleen (Jonathan) Dedman of Mary Esther, FL; two sons:  Paul Thomas Roy (Monica) Allen III of Lexington, KY, and Sean Aaron Roy (Amanda) Allen of Raeford, NC; twelve grandchildren; one great grandson; a brother, Kenneth Lynn (Katherine) Roy Jr. of Flatwoods, KY; and a host of  extended family and friends. The visitation will be on Thursday, February 28, 2013, from 10 am until 12 pm at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY. Graveside Rites will be performed at 1 pm on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup County, KY, with Bishop Benjamin Hurt officiating.
