Carolyn Bernece McComas

Carolyn Bernece McComas, 69, of Flatwoods, Ky went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Carolyn was born on April 30, 1950, to the late Bernard Sr. and Joan Daniels Williams. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Jr. and great-nephew, Tristan. Carolyn was married to Raymond McComas Sr. on February 1, 1969. Carolyn was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Flatwoods, KY. Carolyn enjoyed traveling, camping, and most of all, spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Raymond McComas Sr. of Flatwoods, KY; two sons, Raymond (Kristi) McComas Jr. and Jeremy (Rachel) McComas both of Flatwoods, KY; five grandchildren: Alexandria (Tanner), Hunter, Madelyn, Baylee, and Jansen; two sisters, Kay Cassity and Tammy Presley both of Flatwoods, KY; two brothers, Jimmy (Nancy) Williams of Franklin, OH and Ronnie Williams of Flatwoods, KY; and many special nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at First Pentecostal Church in Flatwoods, KY with Pastor Shane Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, KY. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. – 8 P.M. on Friday, January 17, 2020, and one hour before the service on Saturday at the church. The family has entrusted Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with the arrangements.
