Charles Edward “Pee Wee” Nance, 67, of Flatwoods, KY passed away, Monday, December 16, 2013 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, KY. Mr. Nance was born February 26, 1946 in Grayson, KY.  He was preceded in death by his natural father, Edward E. McGlone in 1947, and survived by his parents, Marshall and Mary Louise Blankenship Nance. Mr. Nance was a 1964 graduate of Russell High School, a retired boilermaker for CSX, and owner of C N Supply in Flatwoods, KY. In addition to his parents, he is survived by four children:  Charles E. “Jay” Nance Jr. and his wife, Ursula, of Greenup, KY; Melissa Dawn Nance of Russell, KY; Sherry Lee Wilburn, and her husband, Scott, of Worthington, KY; and Kathy Ann Akers, and her husband, Jeremy, of Raceland, KY.  He is also survived by three sisters:  Marsha Louise Bowling, and her husband, Russell, of Greenup, KY; Teresa Gaye Roark, and her husband, Jim, of Grayson, KY; Phyllis Ann Houtkooper of California.  Also surviving are seven grandchildren:  Jessica Nance, Jamie Nance, Jeffrey Nance, Jacob Nance, Abby Wilburn, Evan Wilburn, and Cassidy Akers. A memorial service has been scheduled for 2 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2013, at Shawnee Church of God in Flatwoods, KY, with Pastor Jim Stamper officiating.  Burial will be at Bentley Cemetery in Carter County, KY.
