Charles Ray Jenkins

Charles Ray Jenkins, Sr., 64, of Lavalette, WV, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. Mr. Jenkins was born on January 24, 1951 in Logan, WV; a son of Rose Marcum Barker and the late Marcle Glenn Barker.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins was a self-employed mechanic and a member of Faith Christian Assembly in Flatwoods, KY. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Edna Louise Jenkins; five children: Charles Ray (Kimberly) Jenkins, Jr. of Huntington, WV, Mose William Jenkins of Vero Beach, FL, Kathleen Rose (Rodney) Jenkins Frazier of Fort Gay, WV, Marcle Glenn (Shannon) Jenkins, Sr. of Sandy Hook, KY, Marcle Glenn Jenkins, Jr. of Lavalette, WV; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild; three siblings:  Wilma Patton of Fort Gay, WV, Arthur Jenkins of Harts Creek, WV, and Glen Jenkins of Ashland, KY. There will be no public viewing. The memorial service will be at 12 pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Faith Christian Assembly in Flatwoods, KY with Pastor Tim Osborne officiating.  Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be left at baileyfamilyfuneralhome.com.
