Charlotte Connie Cumpton Foster

Charlotte "Connie" Cumpton Foster, 71, of Raceland, KY passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.   Mrs. Foster was born on March 25, 1945, in Ashland, KY; a daughter of the late J.I. and Eva Lawson Cumpton.  She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers: Richard, George, and Herbert; 4 sisters: Madeline, Flora, Joan and Helen; and a daughter-in-law, Angie Foster. She was a member of Abundant Life Church in Raceland, KY. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Wayne Foster; three sons: Chris (Lisa) Valvo, Wayne Foster, Jr., and Kevin (Leah) Foster; 8 grandchildren: Josh, Shelby, Emily, Evan, Zoe, Corbin, Lyla, and Drey; 5 great grandchildren: Vianey, Kevin, Jordan, Ashley, Isabella, and her 'Little Sunshine' Madelynn; 4 brothers: Tom, Ira (Judy), Gene (Vicki), and Edward (Barbara) Cumpton; two sisters: Irene Lucas and Faye Boggs.   The funeral will be at 10 am on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Pastor Anthony Keaton officiating.  Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East.
