Clarence "Bob" Robert Bailey

Clarence “Bob” Robert Bailey, 78, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.

Mr. Bailey was born September 25, 1945, in Flatwoods, KY, to the late Clarence Edward Bailey and Ida Lillian Salyers Bailey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Mr. Bailey built houses and worked maintenance for the Russell Independent School System. He loved sports and enjoyed helping his neighbors. He was a member of the Faith Christian Assembly in Flatwoods, KY.

Clarence is survived by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Drema Gail Bailey of Flatwoods, KY; his son, Shawn Tyson (Angela Renee) Bailey of Westwood, KY; two grandsons: Aaron Sean Bailey and Nathan Daniel Robert Bailey; a brother, Todd Brent Bailey of Fort Collins, CO; two sisters, Beth Hughes of Delaware, OH and Brenda Gimpelson of Durham, NH; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Pastor Dwight Bailey officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
