Connie Lillian Cordle

Connie Lillian Cordle, 70, of Russell, KY, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.

Ms. Cordle was born September 25, 1952, in Greenup, KY, to the late Albert and Mary Alice McKenzie Cordle.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Cordle was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil and Clarence Cordle; and one sister, Carol Crace.

Connie was a homemaker who loved her family. She taught Sunday School and drove the church van for many years. She attended the Raceland Assembly of God in Raceland, KY.

Connie is survived by her son, Jason (Jill) Banks of Russell, KY; a daughter, Michelle (David) Meeks of Flatwoods, KY; four grandchildren: Max, Reagan, Phoebe, and Ellie; two brothers, Calvin (Mary) Cordle of Greenup, KY and Carl Cordle of Flatwoods, KY; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Kings Way Church (340 Providence Hill Drive, Ashland, KY 41101) with her son, Assistant Pastor Jason Banks officiating.

Visitation will be one hour before the service.

The family has entrusted Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with the arrangements.
