Courtney Nichole Maynard, 31, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018, in South Point, OH.Ms. Maynard was born May 19, 1987, in Ashland, KY, to her parents, Gregory Scott Maynard of Franklin Furnace, OH and Sherry Griffith Maynard of Ashland, KY.Ms. Maynard was a server at IHOP in Ashland, KY and a 2005 graduate from Paul G. Blazer High School. She was of the Baptist faith.In addition to her parents Ms. Maynard is survived by her loving son, Gatlin Gage Taylor; her fiance, Heath Steele of South Point, OH; five brothers: Greg (Destiny), Bray, Brock, Micah, and Dalton Maynard; three sisters: Carrie Maynard, Kenndell-Rae Terry, and Allyson Maynard; paternal grandparents, Walter Maynard of Flatwoods, KY and Patricia (Carl) Hale of Ashland, KY; and a host of extended family and friends.A Graveside Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018, at Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd, KY.Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for final expenses.Condolences can be expressed at baileyfamilyfuneralhome.com
