David Clayton McGranahan

David Clayton McGranahan, 30, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, KY. Mr. McGranahan was born on April 10, 1986, a son of Rhonda Salyers Bailey of Flatwoods, KY, and the late Joe McGranahan. He was also preceded in death by an uncle, Steve Salyers. Mr. McGranahan was a mechanic for Fannin Automotive Family in Ashland, KY and a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Raceland, KY. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially with his daughter. In addition to his mother, Mr. McGranahan is survived by his daughter, Bryenna Shay McGranahan; a sister, Britta Sue (Bryan) Cochran Wilson of Morehead, KY; a niece, Maddison Paige Wilson; two uncles: Larry (Rita) Salyers of Worthington, KY, and Ronald Salyers of Flatwoods, KY; two aunts: Nancy Wilhelm  and Tammy (Bill) Spears, both of Flatwoods, KY; special Family, Darrell and Lynn Vanhorn and their family. The funeral will be at 2 PM on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Church of God of Prophecy in Raceland, KY with Pastor Mark Hess and Rev. Klay Esham, officiating. Visitation will be at on Thursday from 12 PM until service time at the church.  Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.  Condolences may be expressed at www.baileyfamilyfuneralhome.com.
