David Lynn Kilburn

David Lynn Kilburn, 62, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at his home. He was born on August 12, 1954 in Ashland, KY, a son of the late Jonnie and Lillie Jacobs Kilburn. He is also proceeded in death by his son, Johnnie Kilburn, three brothers, Gene, Ray and Joe Kilburn, and one sister, Judy Monnett. Mr. Kilburn was a self-employed construction worker and attended the Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle in Flatwoods, KY. Mr. Kilburn is survived by his loving wife Gathel Stapleton Kilburn; two stepchildren; Greg Hackworth and his wife Kara of Worthington, KY and Jennifer Hackworth of Russell, KY; two sisters, Yvonne Kirk and her husband Don of Boyd, KY and Patty Gillum of Greenup, KY; six grandchildren: Jonathon and Jerrica Kilburn; Austin, Tyler, and Brynlee Hackworth, and Bryson Cooper, two great grandchildren: Killian and Zaiden Brewer; and a host of extended family and friends. The funeral service will be at 2 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle in Flatwoods, KY with Pastor Lloyd L. Bailey and Brother Greg Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Cemetery in Argillite, KY. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY.   Visitation will be from 12 PM to 2 PM at the church on Thursday.
