David William Dean

David William Dean, 80, of Ashland, KY passed away January 13, 2016 at the Community Hospice Care Center. Mr. Dean was born July 31, 1935 in Fenton, MI to the late Hugh Mervill Dean and Venus Almeda Baumgard Dean. He worked in construction, and was a proud Marine Corps Veteran, having served in the Korean War. Left to cherish his memory is his children David D. “Bud” Dean of Ashland, KY, Sandra Sexton of Huntington, WV, Laurie Dean of Athens, TN, Christine Ramey of Davidson, MI, and Cheryl Dean of Chesaning, MI. The family is being served by Bailey Family Funeral Home of Flatwoods, KY. No public services are planned at this time, but Military Rites will be performed at a later date.
