Dawanna Joan Gartin Triplett

Dawanna Joan Gartin Triplett, 65, of Greenup, KY, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Mrs. Triplett was born on June 21, 1956, in Ashland, KY, to the late James Nolan and Juanita Moore Gartin. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Triplett was preceded in death by her son, Jarred Nolan Gartin Bennett; a daughter, Josynda Lee Triplett; and her brother, John David Gartin. Dawanna was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family. She attended the Old Regular Baptist Church. Mrs. Triplett is survived by her loving husband of thirty-five years, Teddy Lee Triplett of Greenup, KY; a daughter, Jennifer Maxine Bennett Campbell of Wurtland, KY; five grandchildren: Molly Bennett, Lilly Bennett, Emily Bennett, Nolan Bennett, and Reece Campbell; one great-grandchild, Loreli Horn; a sister, Patricia Gail Gartin Allen of Coal Grove, OH; and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 12 P.M., Noon, on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Elder Gary Blevins officiating. Burial will follow at Little Rosa Cemetery in Greenup, KY.
