Deborah Hale Vanover

Deborah Hale Vanover, 61, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020, at the Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wurtland, KY. Ms. Vanover was born on December 18, 1958, in Mt. Clenens, MI to the late Thomas Albert and Mary Jane Chapman Hale. In addition to her parents Ms. Vanover was preceded in death by her twin sister, Diana Johnson. Ms. Vanover cleaned the Ashland Oil Building in Ashland, KY and attended Flatwoods Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle in Flatwoods, KY. Deborah is survived by her son, Steven (Kyra) Vanover of Greenup, KY; three grandchildren; a brother, James (Katherine) Hale of Flatwoods, KY; two sisters, Rose (Keith) Harris of Ashland, KY and Leann Lawson of London, KY; her beloved nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, July 24, 2020, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Pastor Lloyd L. Bailey and Asst. Pastor J.E. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Burial Park in Ashland, KY. Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
