ASHLAND — Donald Richard Kidd, 51, of Ashland, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011, in Portsmouth, Ohio.Mr. Kidd was born Oct. 24, 1959, in Ironton, Ohio, a son of the late Georgiana Mays Kidd and Don Kidd Jr. Mr. Kidd was a salesman at Superior Chrysler in Ashland and was also a manager at McDonald’s for around 30 years. He loved to play bingo and sell cars.Mr. Kidd is survived by his loving sister, Candace L. Adkins, and her husband, Darrel Adkins, of Franklin Furnace, Ohio. He is also survived by his niece, Jessica Rae Lilly of Franklin Furnace, whom he dearly loved.The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Evangelist Darrel Adkins officiating. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2011, at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in his honor to Community Hospice Care Center, 2330 Pollard Road, Ashland, KY 41101.
