Drexel Ford Skaggs

Drexel Ford Skaggs, 84, of Greenup, KY, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Skaggs was born October 29, 1936, in Sandy Hook, KY to the late Joseph and Maudie Ison Skaggs. In addition to his parents, Mr. Skaggs was preceded in death by all his siblings. Drexel was a Bridge Superintendent for Vecellio and Grogan in Beckley, WV and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Flatwoods, KY. Mr. Skaggs is survived by his loving wife, Donna Faye Hamilton Skaggs, of Greenup, KY; a son, Rodney Kevin (Becky) Estep of Kitts Hill, OH; a daughter, Kim (Chris) Duerk of Rockport, IN; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. The family has arranged a private funeral service with Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Pastor Marvin Boggs officiating.   Mr. Skaggs will be laid to rest at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Russell, KY.
