Elizabeth McClelland

Elizabeth Lewis McClelland, 59, of Ashland, KY went to be with our Lord on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, KY. Mrs. McClelland was born on April 3, 1955 in Maysville, KY, a daughter of Norma White Lewis and the late Charles Lewis. Mrs. McClelland was a teacher’s aid for the Ashland School System. She was a Kentucky Colonel and attended Blankenship Christian Holiness Church in Lewis County, KY.  She loved being a grandmother to her grandsons, and enjoyed sewing. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Garry McClelland; a son: Keith (Holli) McClelland of Westwood, KY; two daughters: Mary (Tom) Slaughter and Amanda (Brad) Cozad both of Ashland, KY; two grandsons: William Mason Slaughter and Caleb Thomas McClelland: two brothers:  Jeff Lewis and Dwight Lewis of Lewis County, KY; a sister: Deborah (Leo) Lykins of Lewis County, KY; and three close friends: Betty Brown, Tammi Conley and Pat Mokas. The funeral will be at 12 PM on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Bible Baptist Church in Catlettsburg, KY with Pastor Dennis Miles officiating.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland, KY.
