Elizabeth Ann Vallance

Elizabeth Ann “Libby” Broughton Vallance, 70, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.

Mrs. Vallance was born July 7, 1953, in Ashland, KY, to the late Cecil Herman Broughton and Phyllis Ann Cook Broughton.

Libby was a Registered Nurse in the ICU at King’s Daughters Medical Center and a secretary in the counselor’s office at Russell High School. She was a 1971 graduate of Paul Blazer High School and a 1993 graduate of Ashland Community College.

Mrs. Vallance is survived by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Wynston Dale “Bozo” Vallance of Flatwoods, KY; a son, Stephen Michael (Noelle) Vallance of Gahanna, OH; a daughter, Christie Ann (Rodger) Raybourn of Ashland, KY; three grandchildren: Derek Raybourn, Alex “A.J.” Raybourn, and Kylie Raybourn; two brothers, Michael (Pam) Broughton and Joe (Teresa) Broughton both of Ashland, KY; two sisters, Linda Broughton Click and Teresa Broughton both of Ashland, KY; sister-in-law, Barbara Ann Vallance of Flatwoods, KY; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 5 P.M. on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Rev. Lloyd L. Bailey officiating.

Visitation will be from 3 P.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
