Evadean Gallion Grubb

Evadean Gallion Grubb, 70, of Greenup, KY, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. Evadean was born February 27, 1952, in Ashland, KY, to the late Cas and Eleanor Roar Gallion. In addition to her parents, Evadean was preceded in death by her son, Derek Woods, a daughter, Monica Lynn Woods; and two sisters, Rebecca Sue Gallion and Linda Lou Blair. Mrs. Grubb was a Respiratory Therapist at Ironton General in Ironton, OH. She was crazy over her grandchildren and cats and was an advocate for homeless animals. She was a member of the Wurtland Church of God in Wurtland, KY with Bro. and Sis. Davis. Evadean is survived by her loving husband, Billy Joe Grubb, of Greenup, KY; a daughter, Deanne (Shawn) Markel of Flatwoods, KY; three grandchildren: McKenna Woods, Luke Markel, and Sam Markel; one sister, Nina Kay Rister of Orange Park, FL; and a host of extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens, in Russell, KY with Bro. Pete Roar officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the First Pentecostal Church Youth Fund (1110 Bellefonte Road, Flatwoods, KY 41139).
