WURTLAND — Fannie Mae Daniels LeMaster Hatfield, 86, of Wurtland, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.She was born Feb. 19, 1925, in Johnson County, a daughter of the late Walker B. “Bud” Daniels and Cathern Grim Daniels.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Bryce LeMaster, who passed away in 1983, and Raynie Hatfield, who passed away in 1997; a son, Danny Bryce LeMaster; a brother, Wilmer Ray Daniels; and a sister, Neva Fay Daniels.Surviving are three daughters, Janet (W.C.) Totten of Delbarton, W.Va., Betty Lou (Clifford) Williams of Columbus, Barbara (Gary) Swann of Raceland; two brothers, Willard Cecil (Betty Jo) Daniels of Columbus and Virgil Eugene (Sandy) Daniels of Hager Hill; five grandchildren, Karen (Dave) McCoy of Columbus, Cathy Walker of Ashville, Ohio, Patti Beavers of Delbarton, Lesli (Curtis) Bradley of Wurtland, Christopher Swann of Ledbetter; and 12 great-grandchildren.She was a member of the United Baptist Church since 1969 with current membership at Duncan Fork United Baptist in Myrtle, W.Va.She was a retired medical records and billing clerk at Appalachian Regional Hospital in South Williamson, Ky., founded the Greenup Hospice quilters, was an avid quilter and gardener and a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many.Visitation will be at Bailey Family Funeral Home on Argillite Road in Flatwoods from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, with a celebration of Fannie’s life starting at 7 p.m. by Elder Terry Bryant and Pastor Butch Kiger.On Friday, visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., with services starting at 11 a.m. at Duncan Fork United Baptist Church in Myrtle, by Elder Eddie Layne and Elder Jerry McCoy.Interment will be in Mountain View Memory Garden in Maher, W.Va.Pallbearers will be Fannie’s great-grandsons, Brandon McLean, Cory McLean, Clay Walker, Lucas Bradley, Andrew Bradley, Stephen Swann, Caleb Bradley and Matthew Beavers. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Community Hospice, 1538 Central Ave., Ashland, KY 41101.
