Frances Gaye White Blanton, 67, of Greenup, KY went on to Heaven, on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at SOMC Hospice Care Center in Portsmouth, OH.
Mrs. Blanton was born July 28, 1948 in Clay City, KY, a daughter of Edith W. White of Fall Branch, TN and the late Robert Irvin White. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Gene Blanton, and two siblings: Robert James White, Jr., and Debbie Darlene Coffey.
Mrs. Blanton retired from General Motors in component parts. She was a member of Gateway Church of God in Portsmouth, OH.
She loved the Lord with all of her being which kept a constant smile on her face, even in adversity. She thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of nature and loved her family. She enjoyed singing and listening to Gospel music. She also loved her dogs: Rowdy, A.J. and Pepper.
In addition to her mother, Edith, she will be sadly missed by three sons: Ronald Dean Jones and spouse, Rachael of Kingsport, TN, Jerry Scott Jones and spouse, Jessica of Wheelersburg, OH, and Danny Lawrence Jones and spouse, Rebecca of Portsmouth, OH; two grandchildren, Abbigail Grace and Austin R. Jones, several step-grandchildren; two sisters: Teresa White and Fiancé Woody of Florida/Ohio, and Kathy Williams and spouse Richard of Fall Branch, TN; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The funeral will be at 12 PM on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Pastor Shannon Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in Blanton Cemetery in Greenup, KY.
The viewing will be from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
