Gary A. Hall, 74, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Mr. Hall was born on December 9, 1941 in Ashland, KY; a son of Lucille Knipp Hall and the late James Russell Hall.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Hall. Mr. Hall was a self-employed truck driver with Quality Carriers, and for Five-Star. He was also a school bus driver for Greenup County School System. Gary was a passionate musician, he especially loved playing his steel guitar.  He was in various local bands, but he got the most enjoyment when having jam sessions in his living room with his son and grandson. He was a Christian. In addition to his mother, Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bonnie Jean Chaffins Hall, two sons: Jerry (Cathy) Hall of Grayson, KY, and Terry (Carolynn) Hall of Flatwoods, KY; three daughters: Diana (Steve) Danner of Flatwoods, KY, Brenda (Ralph) Danner of Argillite, KY, and Cami (Steven) Scott of Lawrenceburg, KY; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a brother, James Christopher Hall of Worthington, KY; a sister, Carla (Denny) Stanley of Greenup, KY, and a host of extended family and friends. The funeral will be at 1 PM on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Bro. Scott Blevins officiating.  Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
