Gary Wayne Fisher

Gary Wayne Fisher, 52, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.

Mr. Fisher was born January 14, 1971, in Ashland, KY, to the late William Eugene and Ruby Nolan Fisher.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by two brothers: Butch and John Fisher; and his sister, Marie Hoyle.

Gary was a Food Service Director for Super Quik. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching sports. He was a 1989 graduate of Russell High School in Russell, KY and attended Advanced Methodist Church in Flatwoods, KY.

Mr. Fisher is survived by his two sons, Cody Wayne (Brooke) Fisher of Whitesburg, KY and Logan (Angel) Fisher of Elizabethton, TN; two grandchildren: Marlee and Connor; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Rev. Jason A. Bailey and Logan Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland, KY.

Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
