Genine Boykin

Genine Dodds Boykin, 60, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY surrounded by her family. Ms. Boykin was born on July 6, 1955 in Portsmouth, OH, a daughter of June Ramey of Flatwoods, KY. She was a fashion model for several agencies, former Miss Greenup County, and alumni of Russell High School. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter: Christine Boykin Artino of Cleveland, OH; three grandchildren: Mason DeRubeis, Avery Artino, and Kendall Artino. She is also survived by five siblings: Jon (Joyce) Barnes of Mentor, OH, David Barnes of Ashland, KY, Bill (Yvette) Baldridge of California, Susan Keeney of Bellefonte, KY, and Debbie (Randy) Wiley of Staffordsville, KY. The celebration of her life will be performed at 6 PM on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY. Friends may call from 5 pm until service time at the funeral home.
