Gloria Jean Waugh

Gloria Jean Waugh, 78, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020, at Oakmont Manor Nursing Home in Flatwoods, KY surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs. Waugh was born on January 9, 1942, in Greenup, KY, to the late Carl and Annamay McCoy Short. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Waugh was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gilbert Lee Waugh; foster parents, Elzie and Jessie Callihan; a grandchild, Trenton Cordle; four brothers: Carl, Bill, Gary Short, and Robert Callihan; and two sisters, Frankie Gibbs and Anna Lee Clark. Mrs. Waugh was a Homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle in Flatwoods, KY. Mrs. Waugh is survived by two daughters, Lois Ann (Greg) Cordle of Ashland, KY and Marcia Dale (Randy) Cordle of Flatwoods, KY; two grandchildren, Tiffany (Chris) Pemberton of Flatwoods, KY and Tara (Sean) LeMaster of Ashland, KY;  six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon Callihan of Flatwoods, KY and Shelia Nichols of Oklahoma; a special friend, Lou Danner of Flatwoods, KY; and a host of extended family and friends. There will be private services conducted by Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY.
