Gregory Allen Montgomery

Gregory Allen Montgomery, 49, of Flatwoods, KY passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, KY.   Mr. Montgomery was born October 26, 1967 in Ashland, KY; a son of the late Van Donald Montgomery and the late Rosalee Sheffield Martin.   He was a carpenter with Stephens Development in Flatwoods, KY.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army.   Mr. Montgomery is survived by his spouse, Brenda Elliott Goble of Argillite, KY; two sisters:  Tammy Montgomery of Ocala, FL, Brandi Lee (Jesse) James of Ashland, KY; a brother, Donald B. Montgomery of Flatwoods, KY; two step-sisters: Mary Elizabeth Clark of Homestead, FL, and Betty Jane (David) Ayers of Knoxville, TN; two nieces: Ciara, and Joell; and seven nephews: Joshua, Jonathon, Austin, Jeffery, Tyler, Justin, and Jesse Joe.   A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 7 PM on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Patrick Ryan Rivers officiating.  Friends may gather at the funeral home for a time of remembrance from 6 PM until service time.  He will be laid to rest at Blevins Cemetery in Argillite, KY.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.baileyfamilyfuneralhome.com.
