Ina Mae Tackett Franklin

Ina Mae Tackett Franklin, 81, of Greenup, KY, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs. Franklin was born January 26, 1937, in Boyd County, KY to the late Earl Tackett and Katherine Lucille Hicks McGinnis. Mrs. Franklin was a 1955 Boyd County Graduate, an OTC Associate at Walmart Pharmacy in Ashland, and worked for Ashland Crafts. She was a Worthy Matron for the Order of the Eastern Star – Mistletoe Chapter and attended Flatwoods Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Franklin was an avid reader and loved to sing for the Lord. Mrs. Franklin is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William “Bill” R. Franklin of Greenup, KY; two children, W. Barry (Patricia) Franklin and Pamela Willis both of Greenup, KY; three grandchildren: Jacob Willis, Joshua Willis and Rachel Brown; three great-grandchildren: Grace, Kelsie, and Jordan Willis; and a host of extended family and friends. There will be a private service.
