Jack Anthony Tony Bailey

Jack Anthony “Tony” Bailey, 55, of Flatwoods went on to heaven on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at his residence.  Mr. Bailey was born November 28, 1956 in Flatwoods, a son of Jack Bailey and the late Sybil McClure Bailey.  He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harry and Martha Bailey; and his maternal grandparents Foster McClure and Grace Smith.  He had attended First Baptist Church in Raceland, was a KY Colonel, and was a 1974 graduate of Russell High School.  He played football and pole vaulted for the track team at the high school.  He was owner of Jack Bailey & Son House Moving and Raising where they had moved over five hundred houses. In addition to his father, Jack Bailey, he is survived by his sisters, Debbi Bailey of Flatwoods and Anna Fosson of Russell.  He is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.  The funeral will be at 1pm Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Bailey Family Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Bailey officiating.  Entombment will be at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
