James Albert Ferguson

James Albert Ferguson, 70, of Raceland, KY, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Mr. Ferguson was born June 6, 1948, in Ashland, KY to the late Ernest Lee and Virginia Melvin Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was a Cosmetologist in Flatwoods, KY for over 50 years. He was also a member of Wildwood Church of God in Ashland, KY for over 20 years. Mr. Ferguson is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mitsue N. Ferguson of Raceland, KY; two sons, Ryan Scott Ferguson of Raceland, KY and Aaron Michael Ferguson of Santa Cruz, CA; one brother, Melvin Ferguson of Ashland, KY, and a host of extended family and friends. There will be Celebration of Life Service at 3 P.M. on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Wildwood Church of God in Ashland, KY, with Pastor Steve Harris officiating. Visitation will be from 1 P.M. until time of service on Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in James’ honor to the Love is Here fund at Wildwood Church of God (3500 S 29th St, Ashland, KY 41102).
