Jessie Voyers

Jessie Maude McKee Voyers, 98, of Raceland, KY passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.   Mrs. Voyers was born on November 14, 1915 in Flatwoods, KY.  She was a daughter of the late Blain and Molly Akers McKee.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, John William Voyers; a son, Stephen Voyers; a brother, Richard McKee; and two sisters: Evelyn Leonhart and Hazel Banfield.   She was a homemaker and attended Raceland Church of God of Prophecy.   She is survived by her loving son, Lewis (Ruth) Voyers of Raceland, KY; two granddaughters: Sherri (Corbett) Litteral of Ashland and Angela Collier of South Point, OH and fiancé, Paul Thomas and his daughter, Ashley of Wurtland, KY; 7 great grandchildren: Jonathon (Whitney) Lezu, Justin Lezu, Page Allen, Jeffrey and Jessica Wells, Matthew Litteral, and Danielle Cox; 5 great great grandchildren: Chelsy Lezu, Ember Wells, Jonathon Lezu, Destiny and Jaydan Cox.   The funeral will be at 1 PM on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Rev. Delbert Dixon and Rev. Charles Bayless officiating.  Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
