Reverend Joe G. Stanley, 79, of Ashland left to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 18, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born on November 17, 1936, in Huntington, WV to the late Phil Roscoe and Eunice Marie Holbrook-Stanley. Joe is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margie S. Saylor-Stanley; 5 children, Joseph (Mildred) of Chatfield, Ohio, Timothy (Michael) of Decatur, Georgia, Donna (Danny) of Ashland, David (Lisa) of Auburndale, Florida, and Phillip of Ashland; 12 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his nephew, Donald Gene Stanley of Hitchins, Kentucky. The family is being served by the Bailey Family Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Golden Oaks Cemetery in Ashland, KY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Community Hospice, 2330 Pollard Road, Ashland, KY 41101.
