John Franklin Lyon

John Franklin Lyon, 93, of Ashland, Ky. passed away Saturday morning, November 14th, 2020 at Kingsbrook Nursing Facility in Ashland, Ky. Mr. Lyon was born December 17, 1926 in Fielden, Ky; a son of the late William E. Lyon and Alma D. Brickey. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Beulah Leatrice Lyon and son William Morton Lyon. Mr. Lyon is survived by a son, Erie Lyon of Inverness, Fl. and a sister Monnie Hoberg of Okanogan, WA. A private burial will take place at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Ky. Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, Ky. has been entrusted with the arrangements. Contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Bailey Family Funeral Home, 2110 Argillite Road, Flatwoods, KY 41139 to help with burial expenses.
