John Sunday Tatsch

John Sunday Tatsch, 78, of Flatwoods, KY passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Tatsch was born April 29, 1937 in Rochester, PA to the late Lovevern and Adeline Grant Tatsch. He was of the Lutheran faith. He moved to Flatwoods to work as an Operator for Ashland Oil, but never lost his love of Pittsburg sports. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, golf, and bowling. Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 47 years, Diana Rich Tatsch; sons Johnathan R. Tatsch or Pittsburg, PA, Christopher (Yvonne) Tatsch of Cape Coral, FL, and Matthew A. (Sarah) Tatsch of Ashland; daughter Kathryn (Brian) Hunt of Flatwoods; brother Anthony Tatsch of Monaca, PA; favorite grandson Johnathan K. Jackson; and granddaughters Amanda, Emily, Jordan, and Morgan Tatsch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Charles and Lovevern Tatsch, Jr. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug 24, 2015 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, as well as 6 to 8 Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at William Murphy Funeral Home in Rochester, PA.
