Johnny Darral Douglas

Johnny Darral Douglas, 50, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, in the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Mr. Douglas was born on November 25, 1972, in Ashland, KY, to Deloris Ann Nelson Douglas of Flatwoods, KY and the late Keith Douglas. In addition to his father, Mr. Douglas was preceded in death by his brother, Curtis Douglas; his paternal grandparents, James and Sylvia Douglas; and maternal grandparents, John B. and Marie Nelson. Johnny was a cashier for Kroger. He loved nature and enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, and camping. He also loved reading, watching movies, and U.K. Basketball. He attended First Apostolic of Flatwoods. Along with his mother, Johnny is survived by a dear and precious niece, Caelynn Douglas of Greenup, KY; a loving aunt and caregiver, Connie Dehart of Flatwoods, KY; and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Rev. Jason A. Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Short White Oak Cemetery in Flatwoods, KY.
