Katrina Lynn Williams

Katrina Lynn Maggard Williams, 64, of Raceland, KY, is now in the presence of her Lord beginning Sunday, July 23, 2023, in Ashland, KY, surrounded by her loved ones.

Mrs. Williams was born April 30, 1959, in Ironton, OH, to the late James and Alice Tackett Maggard, but lived her entire life in Greenup County, KY.

In addition to her parents, Katrina was preceded in death by a sister, Kimberlee Hensley.

Mrs. Williams was a retired Assistant to Facilities Manager at the Federal Corrections Institute in Summitt, KY. She was also the manager for FCI Credit Union. Katrina was a 1977 graduate of Russell High School in Russell, KY, and continued to be close friends with several alumni. She graduated from Shawnee State University. Katrina loved working outside with her plants, feeding and naming the wildlife, and hosting many events with family and friends. She was a woman of God and attended Christ Temple Church in Huntington, WV.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her loving husband of forty-three years, Randall “Randy” Williams of Raceland, KY; a godson, Christopher (Autumn) Lee of Ashland, KY; two goddaughters, Kiera (Brandon) Midkiff of Russell, KY and Charis Chambers of Flatwoods, KY; two sisters, Ronda (Eddie) Primm of Ironton, OH and Betsy Hall of Flatwoods, KY; a brother, Ty (Mel) Pruitt of Douglasville, GA; brother-in-law, Gene (Trina) Williams of South Point, OH; sister-in-law Carol (Dennis) Chambers of Flatwoods, KY; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Pastor Chuck Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Russell, KY.

Visitation will be from 11 A.M. to the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
