Kaye Francis Bryant

Kaye Francis Payne Bryant, 64, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.

Mrs. Bryant was born August 11, 1959, in Bellefonte, KY to the late Clarence Payne and Golda Keeton Triplet.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jason Bryant; two sons: Daniel Jason Bryant and Derrick Bryant; a grandson, Brody Bryant; and three brothers: Larry, Dennis, and Jeff Payne.

Kaye was a Phlebotomist at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Kaye is survived by her special companion for twenty years, Darrell Mabry; two daughters, Samantha Braden of Flatwoods, KY, and Nikki Curnutte of Huntington, WV; eight grandchildren: McKenna Bryant-Williams, Jenna Bryant, Jalynn Bryant, Cody Bryant, Breanna Braden of Lexington, KY, Jeremiah Braden of Westwood, KY, Jazmine Bryant of Ashland, KY, and Billy Braden of Catlettsburg, KY; a brother, Jason Payne; four sisters, Rita (Roger) Johnson of Catlettsburg, KY, Dianna Short of Catlettsburg, KY, Janet Payne of Covington, KY, Kathy Young of Grayson, KY; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Rev. Pete Roar officiating. Burial will follow at Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd, KY.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 A.M. to noon on Monday.
