Larry E. Erwin, 63, of Greenup, KY, brought laughter to Heaven on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Mr. Erwin was born April 24, 1954 in Huntington, WV to the late Harry and Betty Mae Smith Erwin. In addition to his parents, Mr. Erwin was preceded in death by one Angel Grandbaby; one brother, Harry Erwin Jr.; and one sister, Susan Lynn Erwin. Mr. Erwin was a construction foreman and a deacon at his church, Faith Christian Assembly in Flatwoods, KY. Larry loved God with his whole heart and was a witness to everyone he met. Mr. Erwin enjoyed his music, hunting, fishing, McDonald’s coffee, and most of all spending time with his grandbabies. He loved his family and was always supportive of them. Mr. Erwin is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Myra Dean Bailey Erwin of Greenup, KY; one daughter, Heather Erwin Whitt of Greenup, KY; two sons and their wives, Larry Jr. and Jaime Erwin of Huntington, WV and Charles E. and Rachael Erwin of Greenup, KY; seven grandchildren: Madison and Mason Whitt; Gavin, Tanner, Logan, Ian, and Connor Dean “Con Man” Erwin; and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Faith Christian Assembly church in Flatwoods, KY with Rev. Jonathon Bailey and Pastor Dwight Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Garden in Flatwoods, KY. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the church.
