Lige Howard Kilgore

Lige Howard Kilgore, 82, of Flatwoods, KY passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Mr. Kilgore was born on October 18, 1932 in Greenup, KY; a son of the late Wilford and Alice Grubb Kilgore.  He was also preceded in death by a son, Rick Kilgore; a daughter, Michelle Kilgore; four sisters: Helen Tackett, Maxine Fields, Ena Nelson, and Betty Browning. Mr. Kilgore was a self-employed carpenter. He is survived by two sons: Steve Kilgore, and his wife Fern, and Monty Kilgore, both of Greenup, KY; two daughters: Sheila Cook, and her husband Ray, and Lynn Richie, both of  Flatwoods, KY; a special nephew, Benny Kilgore; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Bishop Hyden Curnutt officiating.  Burial will follow at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland, KY.
