Louise Kilgore

Louise Kilgore, 79, of Flatwoods passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at her home with her family by her side. Ms. Kilgore was born August 21, 1936 in Ashland to the late Proctor and Ethel Hayes Lyon. Her greatest joy in life was her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild, whom affectionately called her Ninny. Left to cherish her memory is her children Steve (Fern) Kilgore of Greenup, Sheila (Ray) Cook of Flatwoods, Monty (Beth) Kilgore of Flatwoods, and Lynn Richie of Portsmouth, OH; her siblings Doris Jo Collett of Greenup, Roberta (Hearl) Daniels of Ashland, Charles (Nina) Lyon of Greenup, Geneva Fritz of South Shore, and Proctor Lyon, Jr., of Ashland; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children Michelle Linhart and Rick Kilgore. The family is being served by Bailey Family Funeral Home – Flatwoods where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 12:00 P.M.. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Interment will follow at Golden Oaks Cemetery in Ashland.
