Martha Elizabeth Bryan Lynd, 68, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at her residence. Ms. Lynd was born December 31, 1949, in Raceland, KY, to the late Howard Bryan Sr. and Dorothy Cleo Kouns Bryan.In addition to her parents, Ms. Lynd was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Bryan Jr. and four sisters: Twins, Loraine Virginia and Lora Lee Bryan, Charlotte Grubb, and Bonnie Watson.Ms. Lynd was a homemaker and an elderly caregiver. She was also active in her community by working election and volunteering as President of the Russell Little League and PTA Treasurer at Advance Elementary School.Ms. Lynd is survived by one son, Scott (Shannon) Lynd of Worthington, KY; one daughter, Lora (Josh) Baldridge of Raceland, KY; six grandchildren: James-Elijah Lynd, Samuel Lynd, Saylor Annabeth Lynd, Austin Baldridge, Zackary Bryan Baldridge, and Landon Baldridge; five brothers, Wendell (Peggy) Bryan of Wurtland, KY; Ronald (Geneva) Bryan of Raceland, KY; Jerry Bryan of Argillite, KY; Bill (Nancy) Bryan of Raceland, KY; and Cecil Bryan of Flatwoods, KY; one sister, Dorothy Lunsford of Flatwoods, KY; and a host of extended family and friends.Funeral Service will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Pastor Johnny Riley officiating.
