Mary Lee Waugh Grizzle

Mary Lee Waugh Grizzle, 79, of Raceland, KY went home to meet her Saviour on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Mrs. Grizzle was born on June 9, 1936 in Westwood, KY.  She was the daughter of the late Daunt and Roxie Hutchinson Waugh.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers:  Clifford Jackson, Jack Waugh and Daunt Waugh, Jr.; two sisters: Betty Hicks and Frankie Waller. Mrs. Grizzle was a loving wife and mother to her family. She was a member of Christ Temple in Huntington, WV and ordained minister through the Church of God in Cleveland, TN. Mrs. Grizzle is survived by her loving husband of almost twenty five years, Larry Grizzle; two sons: Scott Harris and his fiancé, Amanda Stewart of Russell, KY, Tony Duncan and his wife, Celeste, of Ashland, VA; three daughters: Connie Hensley and her husband, Walt, of Lloyd, KY, Marilyn McCann and her husband, Don, of Flatwoods, KY, and Sherri Dingess of Load, KY; two step-sons: Travis and Tim Grizzle of Greenup, KY; and two step-daughters: Tammy Carver and her husband, Andy, of Wurtland, KY and Tonya Thibodaux of Wurtland, KY; forty three grandchildren; two brothers: Rocky Waugh and his wife, Margie, of Argillite, KY and Randy Waugh and his wife, Debbie, of Louisa, KY; a sister, Peggy Gollihue and her husband, Bill, of Mansfield, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The funeral will be held at 1 PM on Monday, June 29, 2015 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Rev. Lloyd L. Bailey officiating.  Burial will follow in Waugh Cemetery in Argillite, KY.
