Mary Maxine Clark Smith

Mary Maxine Clark Smith, 89, of Flatwoods, KY passed away at Oakmont Manor in Flatwoods, KY on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Mrs. .Smith was born on February 15, 1926, in Flatwoods, KY; a daughter of the late Robert and Nan Holbrook Clark. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur S. Smith; a brother, Charles Clark; and a sister, Lena Mae Miller. Mrs. Smith was a retired clerk at C&O Railroad, and attended Russell First Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith is survived by one son, Stephen R. and his wife, Cathy Smith of Flatwoods, KY; a grandson, Shawn S. Smith of Russell, KY; and one great grandson, Maddox Stephen Smith, also of Russell, KY. A private graveside service will be held at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, KY.
